Canadians prefer the stock market (46.3 percent) and real estate (34.5 percent) for their investments, according to a recent survey from HelloSafe.
65.3 percent of Canadians surveyed said they make their investments on their own, while 18.1 percent make investments through a broker and 11.1 percent through their bank.
Cryptocurrencies, meanwhile, are more preferred by younger demographics, with 29.2 percent of respondents between the ages of 16 and 25 saying cryptocurrency is their most preferred investment option, while only 8.8 percent of Canadians between 46 and 55 and only 0.5 percent of those 56 or older responded the same way,.
