GTIS Partners, a global real estate investment firm with a focus on residential and industrial/logistics investments, is developing a $27 million, 170,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution center site located within a qualified opportunity zone in the city of Gastonia, N.C.
Completion of the development, which is known as Project Nexus, is expected by the end of 2026.
“We are excited to lead the development in-house at Cox Road in Gaston County, located within an opportunity zone in the Charlotte MSA,” said Robert McCall, partner and head of U.S. industrial and Brazil acquisitions for GTIS. “With excellent access to I-85 less than one mile away and Charlotte Airport within 14 miles, we expect to attract a diverse user base to the project. We believe the wide range of retail amenities will further benefit users and their employees in this already established location.”
