Chris Kojima has joined General Atlantic as global head of capital solutions.
Kojima assumes this role as the firm expands its diversified global investment platform across sectors, regions and strategies to capture the most compelling opportunities for its investing clients.
In this newly created role, Kojima will lead the firm’s global client franchise. He will oversee capital partnering, client solutions, strategic partnerships, new business development and capital formation activities across General Atlantic’s investment strategies that span global growth equity, credit, climate and infrastructure solutions.
Kojima joins General Atlantic after more than 28 years at the Goldman Sachs Group, where he founded or led many of the firm’s businesses in alternative investments, including its external-manager investment platform for private equity, secondaries, private credit, real assets and GP stakes.
