A recent report from Fuse Research Network takes a look at various alternative investment platforms, including iCapital, CAIS, Yieldstreet, RealBlocks and others.
iCapital is the most predominantly used platform for advisers investing in alternatives, with more than $250 million in assets; 66 percent of advisers surveyed responded that they use the platform.
Eighteen percent of surveyed advisers responded that they use CAIS for alternative investments. CAIS has more than 100 alternative investment products on its marketplace, including in real assets, infrastructure and hedge funds, and touts a network of more than 34,000 independent advisers.
Yieldstreet, too, had 18 percent of the surveyed advisers using its platform for alternative investments.
