Matthew Timbrell, the former vice president, investments and capital formation at Fengate Asset Management, has joined Further Capital Partners (FCP) as senior vice president, real assets capital formation.
Founded in 2006 as Investeam Canada, FCP is a Canadian placement agent that has sourced billions in assets from the country’s largest institutional investors, according to the firm’s LinkedIn page. FCP has done this for investment managers from virtually every region in the world and for nearly every strategy and asset class in the investment business.
Timbrell brings deep experience across alternative investments and capital strategies, with a strong track record in fundraising, investment origination and transaction execution. In addition to Fengate, he previously held roles at Minto Properties, Graywood Developments and Desjardins Capital Markets.
