Nearly half of family offices include direct indexing investments in their portfolio, according to Fidelity in its 2023 Family Office Investment Study.
Other findings include that private equity, venture capital, and direct real estate continue to be focus areas for family offices. Private credit became more of a focus area in 2023, while hedge funds lost popularity.
