Clarion Capital Partners closes fourth fund at $677m

Clarion Capital Partners has closed its fourth fund, Clarion Investors IV, after raising $677 million of capital commitments, exceeding its target of $600 million.

The fund seeks long-term investment outperformance primarily through partnering in buyouts of lower-middle market companies.

Clarion also announced the promotion of David Ragins to president of private equity.
