Blackstone executive Wesley LePatner was killed by the gunman who opened fired at 345 Park Ave. in Midtown Manhattan on July 28, which serves as the headquarters of the National Football League.
LePatner, the global head of core-plus real estate and the CEO of Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust (BREIT), was among four victims killed at 345 Park Avenue. She is survived by her husband, two children and parents.
“Words cannot express the devastation we feel. Wesley was a beloved member of the Blackstone family and will be sorely missed,” the firm said in an emailed statement reported by media outlets. “She was brilliant, passionate, warm, generous and deeply respected within our firm and beyond.”
