AssetMark has announced an initiative to incorporate private market investments into discretionary strategies and unified managed accounts (UMAs), according to ConnectMoney.
Advisers utilizing AssetMark’s will have access to semi-liquid private funds that will be in a single custody account with public market allocations, as of fourth quarter 2025. These programs will be professionally managed to include public and private assets, while leveraging new technology to enhance implementation.
Lou Maiuri, group CEO and chairman, said in a statement: “Private markets are no longer optional — they’re essential to building modern, diversified portfolios.” As the push to democratize private markets continues to gain momentum, firms are working to improve their programs and provide advisers with multi-asset solutions.
