Aprio, a business advisory and accounting firm, has announced the acquisition of Garner Asset Management Corp., a fee-only, SEC-registered investment adviser based in Plano, Texas. Effective Nov. 2, 2026, Garner Asset Management joins Aprio Wealth Management, which represents assets under advisement of approximately $6.1 billion as of Sept. 30, 2026.
The combination establishes Aprio Wealth Management’s presence in the Dallas-Fort Worth market and strengthens its integrated national wealth management platform. Garner Asset Management represents Aprio’s first standalone wealth management acquisition, marking a new phase in the continued expansion of Aprio Wealth Management. The model brings wealth management together with Aprio’s accounting, advisory, tax and legal capabilities, creating greater value for clients as financial decisions across their businesses and lives increasingly intersect.
