For the fifth consecutive year, Ameriprise CEO James Cracchiolo earned more than $50 million, according to the Star Tribune. In 2024, he received $56.1 million — a 7 percent increase from the previous year — through a combination of salary, annual bonus and long-term equity awards. Ameriprise reported record adjusted earnings of $3.6 billion, or $35.07 per share, reflecting an 18.6 percent year-over-year increase. Notably, only 6 percent of Cracchiolo’s target compensation comes from his annual salary.
