Mercer Global Advisors, a national registered investment adviser, has announced that William Hinson has joined the firm’s Atlanta office as a senior wealth adviser. Hinson brings nearly two decades of experience across investment management and private wealth. His addition further strengthens one of Mercer Advisors’ largest regional teams, which serves clients across Georgia with $6.7 billion in assets as of July 31, 2026.
Hinson joins from Northern Trust, where he served as a senior portfolio adviser, and previously held the role of regional wealth portfolio manager at Truist. Throughout his career, he has applied an analytical approach to private wealth management, drawing on his computer science degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
