Capital Square Housing Trust, a real estate investment trust (REIT) sponsored by Capital Square, has announced that its board of directors has appointed Gus Remppies as president of the REIT. The appointment strengthens the REIT’s leadership as it continues to grow a portfolio of high-quality housing communities across the Southeast.
The appointment comes during a period of sustained growth for the REIT, which has expanded its portfolio to 10 multifamily communities valued at $389.5 million, concentrated in high-growth Southeastern markets. Capital Square Housing Trust continues to pursue acquisitions that strengthen the REIT’s portfolio quality and geographic footprint.
