Capital markets are entering a period of structural change driven by geopolitics, technology and new investment models, according to a new global study from CAIA Association, the leading professional body for alternative investment education and credentialing.
The report, The World Rewired. From Signals to Shifts: The Decade Ahead for Capital Markets, draws on a year-long “global listening tour” with more than 120 senior executives across leading investors, allocators and advisers in the alternatives space, spanning eight global financial centers. It is further supported by a new survey conducted among CAIA’s 14,000-member base. It highlights that the global investment system is undergoing a “wholesale rewiring” as geopolitics, technology and organizational capability converge to reshape how capital is raised, allocated and stewarded.
