Wall Street Journal ranks Dallas as top choice for Amazon’s second headquarters

The Wall Street Journal released its definitive list of potential locations for Amazon’s new corporate headquarters.

The best overall cities, according to the publication, are Dallas, Boston and Washington, D.C. Wall Street Journal ranked cities based on six factors: tech labor force, fiscal health, cost of living, college population, culture fit and state tax rank.

Dallas ranked high for state tax because the state has no state income tax, while Boston scored the best possible for culture fit because the city boasts “a great sports-bar scene, and a millennial population that has grown about 9 percent since 2012,” the WSJ reported. D.C. scored high for its tech labor force and for its fiscal health.
