Sixth Street, a global investment firm, has closed its minority investment in the New England Patriots, the National Football League team and six-time Super Bowl champions. The Kraft family remains long-term, majority owners and controllers of the team. Sixth Street’s partnership with the Patriots will help drive the team’s continued success and leadership in the National Football League.
Sixth Street’s sports, media and entertainment team is a partner to leading professional sports organizations across the globe and this partnership marks Sixth Street’s seventh professional sports franchise investment, including in the San Antonio Spurs, the San Francisco Giants, Real Madrid C.F., FC Barcelona, the Boston Celtics and Bay FC.
