Washington State to commit $250m to Crane Capital fund

The $132.3 billion Washington State Investment Board plans to commit $250 million to Crane Capital, according to Tish Tinker Day, CPRO, management analyst – institutional relations for WSIB.

In addition, the board approved the transfer of up to $400 million of commitments made previously to investment partners. The commitments to be transferred are currently overseen by Evergreen Real Estate Partners.

This is the WSIB’s first commitment to Crane. The investment is considered as part WSIB’s private markets investment program.

WSIB’s real estate investments account for $17.2 billion of its total assets.
