Walton Street Capital raises $1.3b for second real estate debt fund

Walton Street Capital has raised approximately $1.3 billion for its second real estate debt fund, according to an SEC Form D filing.

Launched in 2017, Walton Street Real Estate Debt Fund II was targeting $1 billion and will focus its investment efforts on CBD office, debt, hotel, industrial, multifamily, retail and warehouse assets across the United States.

The core-plus fund received backing from 100 investors.

Walton Street’s debt platform is focused on originating and structuring debt investments on high-quality, rental income-producing commercial real estate in the same U.S. markets and assets classes covered by Walton Street’s global investments, according to the firm.
