Ventura County Employees commits $25m to Bridge Debt Strategies Fund IV

Ventura County (Calif.) Employees’ Retirement Association (VCERA) has approved a $25 million commitment to Bridge Debt Strategies Fund IV, according to a recent board meeting document.

Bridge is an institutional real estate investment manager and owner-operator with $20.2 billion in assets under management, as of March 31. The firm runs a fully vertically integrated platform that invests primarily in multifamily housing, including senior housing and office properties, including medical offices.

Bridge Debt Strategies Fund IV will invest opportunistically in Freddie Mac multifamily housing securities, and in real estate loans geographically diversified across the office, senior housing and student housing sectors.
