U.K.’s ACCESS Pool seeks core real estate investment manager, global real estate allocator

by Kali Persall

The ACCESS Pool, a collaboration of 11 local government pension scheme authorities in the United Kingdom, has launched a search for a U.K. core direct real estate investment manager and a global real estate fund-of-funds allocator.

The initial mandate size for the U.K. Core mandate will be between £750 million and £1.25 billion ($885 million and $1.5 billion), and the global mandate will be between £400 million and £550 million ($471 million and $649 million), with potential to grow thereafter in both cases.

The mandates will be procured through two separate tenders, both of which are due by Sept. 23. The contracts will run for 30 years and are subject to a five-yearly review cycle.

You can find information on the U.K. core real estate tender here, and the global real estate tender here.
