Trei Real Estate builds out ESG strategy with new leadership appointment

Trei Real Estate, an international developer and asset manager for residential and retail real estate, has appointed Ivonne Mundil as its new head of sustainability and ESG.

Mundil has served as senior construction manager at Trei since 2014 and has played a definitive role in the development of three mixed residential/retail buildings in Berlin and about 540 residential units.

Mundil is a trained architect (chartered engineer) specializing in urban planning. She developed Trei’s company’s ESG strategy and will oversee its implementation. The strategy involves determining the ESG status of the real estate inventory, then defining targets for the future development of the portfolio. The first step for properties that Trei develops is to seek green-building certifications for all of them. Trei has a total of 237 existing properties in three different countries under management.
