Timberland Investment Resources fund raises $121m

Timberland Investment Resources Europe, a U.K. legal entity, based in London, authorized and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, has raised $121 million for TIR Europe Forestry Fund, according to IREI’s FundTracker database. The firm did not comment on its fundraising efforts.

TIR Europe Forestry Fund held an initial close in 2016, with $74 million of committed capital. The firm is seeking to raise $200 million for the fund, according to IREI’s FundTracker database.

TIR Europe will invest the fund’s capital using a strategy that focuses on building a diversified portfolio of timberland properties and related assets.
