TH Real Estate appoints multifamily portfolio manager

TH Real Estate, an affiliate of Nuveen, the investment management arm of TIAA, has hired Nikita Rao as a portfolio manager for its multifamily sector strategies.

Rao joins from Federal Capital Partners, where she most recently led portfolio management and fundraising/investor relations for the firm’s series of value-add multifamily funds and core-plus multifamily separate account.

TH Real Estate manages approximately $10 billion of multifamily housing assets in the United States, focusing on rental housing investments in demand-driven markets.

The total apartment portfolio in the United States consists of 215 investments across 59 markets comprised of both equity and debt investments.

In the United States, multifamily housing has been a key focus for TH Real Estate for more than two decades. It owns 54 million square feet of multifamily property in total.
