Supermarket Income REIT has paid £76.4 million ($91,7 million) for four supermarkets in the United Kingdom.

Acquired from different vendors, the purchases consist of two Tesco supermarkets, located in Cheltenham and Merseyside, as well as a site in central Glasgow, anchored by a Sainsbury’s supermarket and an M&S Foodhall.

According to Supermarket Income REIT, the Tesco in Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham, comprises a 29,501-square-foot net sales area supermarket, located on a four-acre town-center site. The Tesco in Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside, comprises a 22,298-square-foot net sales area supermarket, located on a 2.9-acre town center site. The city center Glasgow site comprises a 16,893-square-foot net sales area Sainsbury’s supermarket.

The four supermarket acquisitions were partially funded through the first drawdown on the company’s £412.1 million ($495 million) unsecured credit facility.
