Stephen Spook retires as senior investment officer of real estate at Florida SBA

Stephen Spook has retired as the senior investment officer for real estate at the Florida State Board of Administration (Florida SBA).

Spook started his career at Florida SBA in 1998. Prior to becoming a senior investment officer in November 2011, Spook was the senior portfolio manager of principal investments.

He worked as a senior commercial mortgage loan officer at John Alden Life Insurance Co. for 10 years before joining Florida SBA.

Spook studied at the University of Florida Warrington College of Business and received an M.B.A. from the University of Florida’s Hough Graduate School of Business in 1983.
