by Kali Persall

The $10.3 million Delaware Public Employees Retirement System, a fund operated by the State of Delaware Office of Pensions, has invested $25 million in the Marcus Capital Partners Fund III, managed by Marcus Partners.

Opened in April, the Marcus Partners fund is targeting $350 million in capital commitments.

The value-add fund invests in industrial, medical offices, mixed-use, suburban offices and distressed properties across the United States.

In April, the Arlington County Employees Retirement System also voted to commit $25 million to the limited partnership vehicle.

In 2014, the previous fund in the series, Marcus Capital Partners Fund II, closed with $250 million in capital commitments. Investors included endowments, foundations, pension funds and family offices.
