Skanska names Anders Danielsson CEO

Skanska has appointed Anders Danielsson new president and CEO of Skanska. He will succeed Johan Karlström who previously announced he will step down.

Danielsson has worked at Skanska since 1991. He is currently serving as executive vice president with responsibility for Skanska’s construction units in the United States and Infrastructure Development.

Before Anders joined Skanska’s senior executive team in 2013 he was president of Skanska Norway.

Danielsson will assume his new position January 1, 2018, when Karlström will step down as CEO and member of the board of directors. Karlström will remain as a senior advisor until January 2019, when he will retire.
