Singapore’s GIC and Charter Hall acquire $316m office tower in Australia

GIC has teamed with Charter Hall to buy a 15-story office building in Parramatta in southeastern Australia from Brookfield Properties for approximately A$420million ($316 million), reported The Australian.

Jessie Street Centre is a landmark class A building that comprises ground-level retail, 15 levels of office accommodation and a four-level office podium with expansive atrium. The property is in an established Parramatta CBD precinct and is popular with government and legal tenants.
