Schroder Real Estate appoints Head of Continental Europe

Schroder Real Estate Investment Management (SREIM) has appointed Jonathan Harris as the new head of continental Europe.

Harris will have responsibility for the real estate investment divisions in continental Europe. He will join the SREIM investment committee and report to Duncan Owen, the global head of real estate.

Harris brings a wealth of knowledge to the role with more than 25 years’ experience in the industry. His experience includes investing principal and co-investment capital as well as detailed knowledge of complex cross-border transactions and the acquisitions of real estate operating platforms. Harris has considerable experience of higher return strategies, including value-add, development, operating platforms, and unlocking value via corporate and other more complex real estate transactions.

Prior to joining Schroders, Harris worked at Macquarie Group, where he led successful teams advising and investing in European and Asia Pacific real estate
