SC Capital Partners strengthens team with four senior hires

SC Capital Partners has made four new senior hires: Man Yik (M.Y.) Chiu as managing director and head of asset management for its real estate capital Asia Partners (RECAP) series of opportunistic funds; June Kim Kyoung Joon as executive director for its Japan Hospitality Fund (JHF); Justin Cham as investment director; and Jester Perez as research director.

Chiu joins from CapitaLand Investment Management, where he was responsible for overseeing all assets in the value-add fund, including the development and execution of asset enhancement plans. Prior to joining CapitaLand, Chiu spent 13 years with LaSalle Investment Management,  where he was the head of asset management for Greater China.

Kim was previously with EGW Asset Management as a director of asset management of hotels for five years, where she worked on asset management of the hotel portfolio across Japan, and supported hotel acquisition process, hotel development and developed relationships with Korean instit
