Savills Investment Management appoints new CEO

Alex Jeffrey has been appointed CEO of Savills Investment Management. He will join the firm in late 2019, subject to regulatory approval, and will be based in Singapore. He also will become a member of the Savills Group Executive Board.

Jeffrey previously was head of Asia Pacific for M&G Investments, with responsibility for the development and leadership of the company’s business across all investment sectors in the region. Prior to this role, he was chief executive of M&G Real Estate, based in London. Prior to joining M&G, he was CIO and CEO Europe of MGPA Ltd.

Jeffrey will be responsible for leading the next stage of Savills IM’s global growth, which has already seen the company increase its assets under management from £5.6 billion ($7.3 billion) in 2015 to more than £16 billion ($21 billion) in 2019, raising more than £2.4 billion ($3.11 billion)  of new capital from clients in 2018.
