RWA tokenization would allow for retail investors to invest in a sector that is typically illiquid or inaccessible for retail investors.
Certain firms have worked to incorporate RWA tokenization into their operations to some degree, such as Blocksquare and Steelwave, but regulators are still ironing out the details of how RWA tokenization should function. Many firms thus are opting to wait for more clear guidance and protocols rather than wading through the current regulatory landscape.
