RO Group appoints Matteo Scabbia as head of property management

The U.K.-based RO Group has announced the appointment of Matteo Scabbia as head of property management. In his new role, Scabbia will be based at the company's London office and will work across the group’s extensive real estate portfolio.

Matteo previously served as a property asset manager at Sorbon Estates, where he started his career. He oversaw a diverse portfolio, including office, retail and industrial assets.

At Sorbon Estates, Scabbia also spearheaded the review of utilities for the entire portfolio, securing favorable contracts well before the recent cost-of-living crisis, resulting in substantial savings. His expertise also extended to managing a £10 million ($13 million) rent roll, where he significantly reduced voids and maximized income.
