Fastighets AB Region has acquired seven centrally located office and commercial properties with a rentable area of about 70,000 square meters (753,000 square feet) in Jönköping city, Sweden’s 10th-largest urban area.
The seller was Ekblads Fastigheter.
The sales price was SEK 2.13 billion ($230 million).
“The property portfolio is fully in line with our business concept where we focus on long-term sustainability real estate in good locations,” said Eric Bergström, CEO real estate AB region and partner Brunswick Real Estate.
Region has entered into an unconditional share transfer agreement regarding acquisition of Ekblads City Properties in Jönköping AB (Ekblads Fastigheter). Through the company business, the properties acquired are Almen 6, Share 3, Responsibility 2, Apeln 44, Apoteket 6, Asken 2 and Astern 11 in Jönköping.
