Pretium Partners, a New York City–based investment management firm, has raised $53.9 million for Pretium SFR Real Estate II, according to a filing with the SEC.
Pretium SFR Real Estate II is a closed-end real estate fund that will invest in single-family properties throughout the United States. The firm seeks to raise $1 billion in equity commitments for the fund.
Pretium’s first real estate fund, Pretium Strategy I, is an opportunistic fund that owns more than 18,000 homes across 26 markets in the United States. As of June 30, 2016, Pretium had $6.5 billion in assets under management.
