Platform Ventures collects more than $119m for real estate strategies fund

Platform Ventures has raised more than $119 million for its Platform Ventures Real Estate Strategies V fund, against a target of $300 million.

According to a recent SEC filing, the amount includes securities offered by Platform Ventures Real Estate Strategies V A and Platform Ventures Real Estate Strategies V B, parallel funds to Platform Ventures Real Estate Strategies V.

The fund opened to investors in October 2019.

With more than $1.4 billion assets under management, Platform Ventures specializes in middle-market real estate opportunities throughout the United States, according to the firm’s website. Platform Ventures’ real estate–focused strategies are diverse across the risk spectrum, and include opportunistic, core-plus and tax strategies.
