Phil Shankweiler has been promoted to managing director, head of RIA at Starwood Private Wealth.
Prior to the promotion, Shankweiler was the senior vide president, head of RIA, a position he’d held since June 2022. Before joining Starwood Capital Group in 2022, Shankweiler worked in a variety of roles at Hartford Funds, including his last eight years there as director, large market RIA, family office & bank trust.
Shankweiler earned his bachelor of science in finance from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and his M.B.A. in finance and strategic management at Villanova University.
