PAREF renews Antoine Castro’s term as chairman, CEO

PAREF, a European player in real estate management with €3 billion ($3.2 billion) of assets under management, has renewed Antoine Castro’s term of office as chairman and CEO for six years.

On Feb. 17, 2022, the board of directors appointed Antoine Castro, who served as CEO since July 2017, to the dual-position of chairman and CEO, unifying the functions of both positions.

The move followed Mingtao Liu’s resignation as chairman of the board of directors. Liu remains a director of PAREF until the end of his term of office, expiring in 2025.

According to PAREF, Castro’s role relies on the eight directors — three of which are independent — and the three committees that emanate from them to shed light on decisions in terms of investment, audit, appointments and compensation.
