Palace Capital appoints new asset manager

Palace Capital, a Main Market listed property investment company that has a diversified portfolio of U.K. commercial real estate in carefully selected locations outside of London, has appointed Tom Hood as an asset manager.

Hood joins Palace Capital following five years at Mansford LLP, where his most recent role was as a director of the investment and asset management team. He was responsible for strategic asset management across a range of U.K. assets spanning the industrial, leisure, retail, offices, student housing, private rented sector and hotels sectors.

He started his career as a graduate surveyor at GVA in 2008, where he qualified as a chartered surveyor on the City of London investment team before moving to BNP Paribas in 2013, where he was a senior surveyor. In this role, he was responsible for financial analysis, underwriting and development appraisals.

The appointment follows the addition of another asset manager, Abigail Rowton, to the team earlier
