Private equity firm Origin Investments has closed on Origin Qualified Opportunity Zone Fund I, with $265 million.
The capital will be used by the fund to acquire 10 properties expected to be worth more than $1 billion. It will invest in metro areas such as Atlanta; Austin; Charlotte, N.C.; Dallas; Denver; Jacksonville, Fla.; Las Vegas; Orlando; Nashville; Phoenix; Raleigh, N.C.; Salt Lake City; San Antonio; and Tampa, Fla.
