Oklahoma State Regents commits $7m to real estate fund

The $661 million Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education has committed $7 million to Iron Point Real Estate Partners IV, according to Angela Caddell, associate vice chancellor for communications at the endowment fund.

The funds will come from reallocation within the portfolio and cash assets, said Caddell.

Iron Point Real Estate Partners IV is managed by Iron Point Partners, an investment adviser based in Washington, D.C. The firm manages a series of real estate private equity funds formed to invest in opportunistic real estate transactions throughout the United States and North America. The fund has raised $117.75 million so far. The fund’s predecessor, Iron Point Real Estate Partners III, held a $750 million final close in August 2017, exceeding its $450 million target. The fund closed after three months of fundraising.
