The Ohio Police & Fire (OP&F) Pension Fund has approved a commitment of up to $50 million to the Black Creek Industrial Fund, managed by Black Creek Group, according to a September board meeting document.

The open-end, core-plus fund is seeking to invest in industrial, logistics and warehouse assets in the United States. Launched in 2017, the limited partnership vehicle has a minimum investment of $5 million.

The $15.75 billion Ohio pension fund also recently committed $60 million to the Exeter Industrial Value Fund V, managed by Exeter Property Group. The fund is a value-add investment vehicle that specializes in warehouse and light industrial properties primarily in the United States.

OP&F’s real estate portfolio is valued at $1.78 billion, or 11.3 percent of the total portfolio.
