OCERS commits $275m to real estate and infrastructure funds

The Orange County (Calif.) Employees’ Retirement System (OCERS) has made a series of commitments to real estate and infrastructure funds, including a $75 million commitment to LS Power Equity Partners (LSPEP) V, a $75 million commitment to Quantum Capital Solutions (QCS) II and a co-investment vehicle, a $75 million commitment to Oaktree Real Estate Opportunities Fund (OREOF) IX and a $50 million commitment to Stonepeak Opportunities Fund, confirmed Mary-Joy Coburn, director of communications, OCERS.

Managed by LS Power Group, LSPEP V is seeking to raise $2.5 billion and will invest in infrastructure assets in North America that are focused on the power generation and transmission sectors.
