Nuveen Real estate sells designer mall in Italy 

DWS has acquired the Barberino Designer Outlet in Barberino del Mugello, Tuscany, on behalf of one of its real estate funds. The asset was sold by the European Outlet Mall Fund, managed by Nuveen Real Estate. 

The Barberino Designer Outlet is a large-scale outlet mall with an area of approximately 27,000 square meters (290,000 square feet) for more than 120 commercial units, distributed to form a typical Tuscan village, that includes parking and features premium and luxury brands. The outlet is almost entirely occupied and counts among its main tenants Polo Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, Nike and Adidas. 

The mall attracts more than 2.7 million visitors each year.
