Northwest Healthcare Properties REIT secures institutional commitment for UK portfolio

Northwest Healthcare Properties Real Estate Investment Trust has secured a commitment with an institutional investor for the REIT's U.K. portfolio. Specific details were not learned at the time of publication.

The investment in the U.K. seed portfolio is expected to be 70 percent to 80 percent of the net equity value of the portfolio, allowing Northwest to accelerate its deleveraging strategy and pursue strategic growth. The commitment is expected to close in second quarter 2023.
