Noble Hospitality Fund V inches closer to $800m fundraising target

by Kali Persall

Noble Investment Group has locked in more than $510 million for its Noble Hospitality Fund V from 17 investors, according to a recent filing with the SEC.

Noble Hospitality Fund V, which opened to investors in August 2021, has a fundraising target of $800 million. The value-add vehicle has a disciplined focus on acquiring, developing and redeveloping, premium-branded select-service and extended-stay hotels in the United States.

The fund may enter into joint ventures but only on terms where the fund has, at minimum, joint control over major decisions. It may also make preferred equity investments if the fund has significant control rights. In addition, Fund V will review opportunities to invest in platform companies that invest in hospitality real estate assets.
