by Released

National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries has formed a summer program with the Southern Methodist University (SMU) Cox School of Business in Dallas for professionals pursuing a career in institutional real estate investment.

NCREIF and Southern Methodist University will present the 3rd Annual Professional Certificate Program in Institutional Real Estate June 26–29, 2018, at SMU’s campus in Dallas.

This certificate program was launched in summer 2015. There are six courses required to receive certification, and students must take all six courses within five years. Two of the courses are being offered this summer at SMU — the Introduction to Institutional Real Estate (also known as NCREIF’s Nuts & Bolts of Institutional Real Estate) and Asset Valuation and Investment Analysis. Students may also take any of the individual courses without working toward a certificate.
