Mizuho Financial Group, a banking holding company headquartered in the Ōtemachi district of Chiyoda, Tokyo, has plans to offer real estate loans with an incentive for property owners to cut greenhouse gas emissions by lowering interest rates, reported Bloomberg.
The loans will be handled by Mizuho Bank and Mizuho Trust & Banking. The company will begin offering the loans in April.
