Missouri pension entity locates new executive director following national search

Dearld Snider, who currently serves as the assistant executive director of operations for the Public School and Education Employee Retirement Systems of Missouri (PSRS/PEERS), has been promoted to executive director.

Snider was chosen following a national search to replace M. Steve Yoakum, who will retire after 22 years in the position on Dec. 1.

Snider joined PSRS/PEERS in 2006, serving as director of member services before he was bumped up to his current role of assistant executive director, operations. As assistant executive director, Snider's primary responsibilities include day-to-day system operations and acting in an advisory capacity to the PSRS/PEERS executive director and board of trustees.
