MC Real Estate Partners snaps up historic office building in Boston

MC Real Estate Partners (MCRE) and a private capital partner have acquired a 76,000-square-foot building in downtown Boston, located at 110 Chauncy Street.

This is MCRE’s third property in Boston.

MCRE has also completed a long-term lease agreement with global design firm Sasaki for the majority of the building’s office space. The two companies are planning to renovate the building’s interiors in the second quarter of 2021. Improvements include enhanced HVAC systems, the addition of bicycle storage and showers in the basement. MCRE also plans to lease up office space vacancies on the first and basement floors.

Sasaki has signed a 16-year lease and will be the primary occupant of the eight-story building, which will house more than 250 employees and the Sasaki Foundation in the top seven floors.
